I had the honor and pleasure of attending the 2025 NATO Summit in The Hague and creating a photo report from this exceptional event that shaped the future of international security. It was an extraordinary experience to witness firsthand the key moments and crucial discussions among the leaders of member states.

The photographs featuring Fatima, a resident of Amchit and a displaced woman with a son with special needs, are an integral part of the report titled "Like a Shadow That Does Not Fade." This report delves into the complexity of contemporary humanitarian aid, highlighting its diversity and the challenges it faces. It also raises questions about the effectiveness, authenticity, and form of humanitarian efforts, which, despite numerous difficulties, remain a crucial response to global humanitarian crises.

The inauguration ceremony of Dr. Karol Nawrocki as President of the Republic of Poland and his assumption of supreme command over the Armed Forces took place on August 6, 2025, in the presence of state authorities. The event was accompanied by a massive march of support, attended by thousands of the new President’s supporters.

He arrives at a critical time for the country, which is grappling with conflict with Israel and a severe economic crisis.

Warsaw, 11.11.2025. Independence Day celebrations in Warsaw. Participants of the Independence March walk through the streets of the capital carrying Polish flags and flares. Banners of nationalist and far-right groups were also visible during the event.

The new pope is Cardinal Robert Prevost from the United States, who took the name Leo XIV. His election was announced on Thursday after 7 PM from the balcony of St. Peter’s Basilica by Cardinal Protodeacon Dominique Mamberti on May 8, 2025.

The funeral of Pope Francis took place on April 26, 2025, at St. Peter’s Square in Vatican City. Thousands of mourners and world leaders attended the ceremony to pay tribute to the late pope’s legacy.
